Holocaust Book Launched At ABCNJ Annual Session
Dr. Spitzer celebrates his book launch at ABCNJ's Annual Session.
On September 22 Judson Press launched Baptists, Jews, and the Holocaust: The Hand of Sincere Friendship at the 2017 Annual Session of the American Baptist Churches of New Jersey. The launch meant a great deal to Dr. Spitzer as the region had supported his throughout his research and writing process, even being included in the dedication page of the book.
“With deep appreciation, I would like to dedicate this volume to my fantastic ministry team, ABCNJ’s executive committee and council, and the regions churches and clergy. I am honored to serve such a wonderful fellowship.”
Soon after Baptists, Jews, and the Holocaust was completed Dr. Spitzer was called to serve as the General-Secretary for the American Baptist Churches USA, but the friendship between Dr. Spitzer and the region was evident both as he signed copies of his book and was commissioned by the region for his new calling.
Dr. Spitzer was presented with a clergy robe, bearing the logos for both ABCNJ and ABCUSA, at ABCNJ's Annual Session.
